I caught the bug...

And it's a fun bug!

Here's a few fun things I've found and done on Pinterest. I'm so not crafty and this site suddenly makes me feel like I can be. It's all easy stuff, but I thought I'd share so you could do it too!

California Sandwich 

Oh wow, so good! You could decrease calories with no cheese- it really doesn't need it, but does add some spice.

Fall Vase

Dry peas, kidney beans, popcorn kernels, and an orange candle. I already had the vase out, but with summery potpourri in it. This was cheap and a cinch!

Friend Christmas Gifts

My sister Hannah and I made these while Drake was napping. It's popcorn, covered with paper (found snowman template online), with gloves and a bow. It was so easy and cheap and my 12 year old sister had a blast doing it.

Rainbow Drink

Hannah loved doing this!

Fill ice cube trays with water, then put a different drop of food coloring in each one.

Freeze and put the different colors into each glass. Looks pretty cool, huh!

Fill with Sprite or Ginger-ale and you get-

GREENISH-BROWN Goo?

Ok, so this one did not work out the way it was supposed to. Look how pretty it was supposed to be- here

I don't quite understand how she got her liquid to stay clear. Don't the ice cubes melt as soon as liquid touches them and therefore mixes the colors together? Maybe I needed my ice cubes to be super frozen and my Sprite to be super cold. I will have to try it again. It was still cool though and was a fun drink!

T-shirt Scarf

These are two different scarfs- the red one and the green/navy one.

I got the shirts at the DI and then followed the tutorial -here.

Mind looks nothing like the cute ones on the tutorial. (See, this is why I don't create- I stink at it)
I can't decide if this is a NO-GO or not.

I'm going to have to play with them and see if they look modern and cute, or homeless?

I know none of this is all that great or crafty, but like I said, I had to share because it was fun, easy stuff!
