I have not been looking forward to fall because I had such a great summer with Drake and didn't want it to end. But suddenly, I'm very much loving it! I'm loving the scarfs, sweaters, and boots. The chilly evenings. I feel like baking all the time. I've made pumpkin smoothies, pumpkin cream cheese on cinnamon bagels, soup, etc. I still want to make pumpkin rolls, pumpkin cookies, and pumpkin brownies.
All very healthy things of course.
I keep a spicy autumn smelling candle going almost all the time.
Don't you just love the smells and tastes of Fall!
Our beautiful tree above sheds like CRAZY, so on Saturday, we raked up all the leaves. The backyard has a tree like this too. It was work! (Hence, the reason for our garbage can in the front yard in the above picture- it's not normally there). Leaves were falling all around us while we raked, so at times it felt extremely pointless.
Today, the yard is COVERED in them again. I had to laugh when I saw them this morning.
Drake and I went outside today to play because the weather is just wonderful!
I showed him how to crunch the leaves and we smelled them together. I love how much he wants to learn.
Ooh..I just love him.
As you can see, leaves everywhere.

I love fall too but I hate to rake leaves we have 4 big trees that seem to help fill our garbage cans until at least thanksgiving..good luck with that but your right the weather is awesome!!!

Your tree is SO BEAUTIFUL. One of the awesome bennies of buying an established home. So so pretty.
And Drake is really growing up all of a sudden. I miss you guys!!
Fall is my absolute favorite season! That tree in your front yard reminds me why! That cute little boy running around in the leaves is darn adorable, too! You're such a good Mom, Lindsay, and a great sister, too! I'm sure your Mom appreciates you so much!
