Memorial Day Weekend

(I'm playing catch-up)

We had a great Memorial Day weekend with my family!

I was so happy to get cut from work Sunday night so that we could go with my family to decorate the Rose Family graves in Brigham & Ogden. We always have a great time with the Sandalls and with G&G Rose. Lots of laughs!

Sunday night we hung out at my parent's house and Hunts set up a movie projector on the deck. It was a blast to watch a movie out there with sleeping bags and pillows!

Monday, my Aunt Christie & Uncle Scott threw their annual Memorial Day Pool Party!

Drake had been taking swimming lessons for a week in this pool with my cousin Chrystal so he was crazy in the water! I truly think he was in there for about 4 hours...

....with a few "snack breaks" in between, of course!

 Uncle Hunter is SO cool taking Drake on a motorcycle ride back to Grandma's house!

 After the pool party and showers, we spent some time at my Grandpa DeVerl Payne's grave in Tremonton. We all relaxed on the grass around his headstone and talked about life, about Hunter leaving, and anything else. It was also nice to sit there and take some time to think about my Grandpa. I sure miss him dearly, but I know that he is watching over us daily!

Grandma Irene is in a nursing home in Tremonton. Grandpa's name is on the other side behind the flower arrangement.

(Calvin & Nancy- We sure missed you so much this day. Holidays are hard without you. We can't wait to decorate graves with you next year! )
