Christmas was different this year, but also great! We had our annual Christmas Eve Party at my parents house, but decided to go home to our house this year to sleep and have Christmas morning. It was our very first Christmas morning by ourselves and we really loved it! We missed being with the Payne family but we enjoyed making new traditions and focusing on Drake. We invited Rob's parents to spend Christmas morning with us and it was wonderful to spend one on one time with them. We loved having them with us. After sleeping in a bit, we opened our Christmas presents (Drake was adorable to watch!) and had a delicious breakfast. Then, we hurried up to Tremonton to go to church with the Payne family. We then had another delicious dinner and I had to rush off to work the Christmas night shift. Blah! Rob & Drake spent the night at my parents and after I'd slept Monday morning, we had a second Christmas! We got to open all of our presents from my parents! I spent the next few days super sick which, to be honest, put a huge damper on the holidays. No fun at all! Since that time, we have just been relaxing and enjoying all of our new things (as posted below).
Well, here's our fun holiday in pictures...
Christmas Eve Party at the Payne house!
*Girls non-purposely wore matching shirts
*It was so great to be with immediate family
*Drake kept holding his breath and making his face go bright red. He thought it was hilarious.
*We ate appetizers...an amazing dinner featuring bacon-wrapped tenderloins (dad's best yet!)...and lots and lots of treats.

*Drake looked like a Christmas stud.
*We had a little program in the piano room- singing songs and giggling a lot (we were in silly moods that night).
*We opened sibling presents- I got the Maze Runner book series and Rob got hunting headphones. We gave Hannah some makeup and a scarf and Tyler some new tools.
*Mom & Dad opened the present from us and Staci & Ty since we wouldn't be there Christmas morning.
*Mom read us a new Christmas book and Drake was really focused on it. haha!
Christmas morning at our home!
Santa brought Drake a Little People car garage. He also got books, a hot wheels car track, church clothes, a Thomas the train matching game, cool toothbrush, Mickey utensils, and other fun stocking stuffers. Grandma & Grandpa Hunsaker gave him a huge John Deere tractor/farm set and an assortment of puzzles!
Rob shocked me with an iPhone! I was so beyond shocked. Never in my wildest dreams did I think that I was going to get the phone I had always dreamed of having but never thought was possible. Can you tell I'm excited!? :) He also surprised me with a necklace and ring of Drake's birthstone. It made me emotional- it's something I've always wanted. I couldn't believe how awesome he was- what great surprises! Rob got a new drill and table saw that he picked out himself. I surprised him with a personalized golf marker, ski pass to Beaver Mountain, and a few other things.
Calvin & Nancy gave me the Thomas S. Monson biography and canning tools (yay! Now I have my own set!). Rob got money to buy extensions for his golf clubs. We were spoiled!

Rob requested the Christmas breakfast he had grown up with- homemade coffee cake from his mom. It was so delicious and we completed the meal with hashbrowns, bacon & OJ.
Grandma & I eating dinner before I left for work. She was able to leave the nursing home and join us for church and dinner. I wish I'd had more time to spend with her. (I don't know what's with my funky smile here?)
Second Christmas morning at My Parents (Monday afternoon)
Drake was spoiled with a train set, clothes, portable DVD player, movies, and remote control car. What a lucky kid to get to open presents for 3 days straight!
My parents gave Rob & I the most beautiful and awesome Nikon D3100 Digital SLR camera. It's my new love! If only I knew how to use it. I'm excited to learn though!
Thanks so much to all of our family for spoiling us rotten! We are so extremely blessed! I'm sad that Christmas is over. I really am! I love the holidays and I always feel like they come and go so quickly. I about cried when I turned on the radio the Monday after Christmas and there was no Christmas music on. People tease me for listening to Christmas music on November 1st, but I just never get enough. Now it's on to a fun new year though... and my birthday is January 13th! Wahoo!
