Bucket List #1- Visit Temple Square to see the lights

So begins the month of a million blog posts- I feel like I'm constantly behind because we have fun picture-worthy things happening every day! Here's comes a bunch of posts-

Last Saturday, December 3rd we headed to Salt Lake City for a fun evening with just the three of us.

First, we did some shopping at the Gateway. I really love going there during the holidays- it's such a fun atmosphere!

This tree was gorgeous and we loved watching the lights change colors.

 After we had dinner, we took the "train" to Temple Square. 

I think this was the funnest part for Drake! First time on something resembling a train.

 It was Co-oooold!

 The lights were absolutely gorgeous, as always! I absolutely love going there. Makes me think about Christmas, my testimony, and my wedding day!

Drake kept saying "Big Temple!"

 

  

On the news, a temple square rep said that the workers start putting the lights up in August and it will take until April to take them down. Wow! I'm so thankful that the church puts so much work into this so that families like us can go there and feel the special spirit of Christmas and the temple!

We do this every single year because it's always a great experience!
