Gobble, Gobble!

What a great Thanksgiving!
We were lucky enough to get to spend time with both of our families!

We had Thanksgiving Dinner with the Roses (previous post)
and spent Thanksgiving weekend (Wednesday-Saturday) with the Hunsakers!
It really was wonderful to get to enjoy time with so much family. I love the holidays!

The day before Thanksgiving, everyone arrived at Calvin & Nancy's-
Us
Ross, Elaine, Jessica, & Collin
Chad, Jill, Bryant, Jason, Jeff, Lizzie, & Katie
Mikal, Jenn, Hayley, & Claire
(And who could forget all the dogs?- Nikie, Bueller, and Sasha)
Soooooo wonderful to see everyone!

That night, we had a great time crafting. Jill & Katie brought some darling ideas and we made all kinds of pilgrims, indians, turkeys, and even a snowman to decorate the dinner table. We also made a Thankful Tree. Each person wrote what they were thankful for on a leaf and then hung it on the tree.
Girls really do know how to have fun!
Jessica, Katie, and Drake showing off the crafty creations...(I made the turkey in the back)
Thursday, we were gone with the Rose family for a lot of the day, but were back in time for games.
I think my favorite thing about getting together with the Hunsakers is playing games!
We play many, many games and it's such a blast!
(Oh, Rob...)
Friday, the guys went paintballing and had such a great time! (Not my kind of fun though- getting shot at!)
(Mikal- I stole this picture from your Picasa- thanks!)
The gals hung around the house and then went to Tangled (So darling! I may have even teared up a little). I was so happy to get cut from work that night so I could spend more time with the family. The boys always enjoy playing Mario Tennis into the wee hours of the night and of course more games were played that night!

I think out of everyone there, Drake had the best time by far!
He loved his cousins, the action, the toys, and the attention!

Drake's beautiful cousins Claire, Lizzie, and Katie above. Katie & Drake below. What a cheeser!
Drake really loved the whole weekend! He was so hyper crawling everywhere, exploring the house, and investigating what everyone was doing. He ADORED Grandma's play cell-phone. She better hold onto it because it may just "disappear" next time we are there. haha.
Drake crawled all over carrying this cell phone and this is the concerned face he would make when saying
"Hewwo?"
Other favorites:
*Grandma, of course (she's #1)
*Grandma's piano
If we had a piano, I think I could leave Drake for hours and never worry about where he is or what he is doing. I don't think he would ever get tired of banging on the keys.
And the tub! This kid ALWAYS LOVES the tub!
But, it was especially fun because there were different toys to play with than the ones he has at home.
Saturday, there was a storm coming and so everyone had to leave a little earlier than expected. We were so sad to see everyone leave. Oh how I wish we lived closer!
HAPPY TURKEY DAY!!
