To My Little Boy,
Time is fast approaching that your little sister will make her debut...
I've been thinking a lot lately about how wonderful it is to be your mom. You bring so much joy into my life Drakey. We've been best buddies for the last 3 1/2 years. Things are about to change big time and it's a little scary, but I know we can do it. I know things are going to be hard and very different for awhile, but I also know that you will be so excited and so good at being a big brother. This little girl will be the luckiest alive to have such a sweet, tender-hearted brother who will watch over her and protect her throughout her life.
There is something I want you to know though. You will always hold a very special place in my heart. You will always be my first baby....the one who made me a mommy....the one who forgave me over and over again as I made mistakes and learned how to be a mom (which I'm still learning). I just love you so much that I feel my heart could burst.
Let's learn this big brother and 2nd time mommy thing together, okay buddy?
