PGT 2013- Relaxing 4th & Six Flags

Thursday, July 4th

A RELAXING INDEPENDENCE DAY

San Francisco the day before was exhausting! So...we spent the next day just relaxing at our house. Grandma brought this fun pool home from the store, and although Drake isn't pictured, he's the one who had a blast with it! It felt great to cool down in the heat!

In the evening with saw the new Monsters University movie (so cute!)

And then went out for dinner in our Red, White, & Blue attire!

To top off the night, we found a spot to watch fireworks on a random lawn. We waited....and waited....and waited....but no fireworks. So we headed home. I just found that they got cancelled due to some problems that night. It was still fun to lay on the lawn under the stars. :)

Friday, July 5th

SIX FLAGS DISCOVERY KINGDOM
I'd so been looking forward to taking the girls to Six Flags. They have killer rollercoasters and I knew Staci, Kate, & Hannah would love riding them. We spent the whole day here and had a great time. Rob went with the girls to ride rides and Mom & I watched Savannah and took Drake on rides. We saw animals and lots of shows altogether and just had a fantastic time.
Grandma was so great to ride the rides with Drake that he needed an adult on.

I think the highlight for all of them though was this-

Yes, that's Drake & Grandma riding an elephant!!

For only $10/child or $15/adult, you can ride an elephant here! Crazy cool huh!?

I'll be in line for the elephant rides after this baby comes- so fun!
