Weekend in St. George

This last weekend, we took a quick, quick trip to St. George!

Our cousin Chandler (pictured below) plays basketball for Colorado Mesa University and had an invitational in St. George. Erica & Chandler are the greatest friends and we have so many memories of our days in Logan together a few years ago. Any chance we get to see them, we just cherish!

 We watched him play 2 games- one on Friday night and one on Saturday night. He's amazing and fun to watch! It was wonderful to catch up with Erica- I so wish we lived closer- we just click!

My cousin Whitney and brother Hunter are attending Southern Utah University (30 minutes from St. George) so they came down to watch the games with us. Drake LOVES these two- we Skype lots so he doesn't forget them.

My parents wanted to visit my brother Hunter at SUU so they decided to come down with us as well. They stayed in a hotel and we stayed at my Uncle Wayne's nice trailer house (I didn't know trailer homes could be so beautiful and we were extremely thankful for free place to stay).

Saturday, we enjoyed breakfast at my parent's hotel and swimming at their pool. Drake threw an enormous fit about wearing water wings (his first time). Rob & my dad had to PIN HIM DOWN to get them on. Once they were on and Drake realized how cool they were, he had a great time!

 Whenever Grandma & Grandpa or Uncle Hunter are around, you can be sure that Drake will have some sticky treat in his hand. Goodness gracious. How am I ever supposed to get him to like vegetables?

 Chan & Erica had lots of friends and family down there, but were so sweet to come spend Saturday night with us at the trailer house. We stayed up until 2:00am talking and catching up. 

We also celebrated Erica's birthday!

(Seriously stinky friend- I had no idea it was her birthday until the day of and would have actually done something for her. Nice, Linds)

 On our way home Sunday, we stopped to see Hunter's apartment and he took us to the most amazing park I have ever seen. Drake had a blast!

Super quick trip...but it was great! Eating out, lounging, swimming, talking, watching basketball, watching movies, driving---it was all fun! But the absolute best was seeing Chan & Erica! Miss them like crazy!
