Today, I'm thankful for:
- My husband- he is seriously so awesome.
- Drake was so obedient today. I asked him not to step on the wet, mopped floor. I heard him yelling for me and found him standing at the edge of the carpet, pointing at his football that he'd accidentally thrown onto the wet floor. I couldn't believe he hadn't gone after it.
- My parents support
Yesterday, for FHE, we made a "Thankful Tree". We filled a mason jar with beans (for weight), then stuck different sized branches from our tree outside (to make a little tree) down into the beans. Then, we cut out a bunch of paper leaves and punched a hole in each one. We thought of something we are thankful for and wrote it on one of the leaves, then tied it on the tree with a ribbon. We are going to do it everyday in November and by the end of the month, it will be filled with leaves and all the things we are thankful for. Drake really caught onto it. It's fun that he's getting old enough to start doing these things with him. I'll post a picture at the end of the month! Just wanted to share so you could do it with your family too if you're interested! (Thanks to my sis-in-law Jill for this idea last year at the Hunsaker Thanksgiving)
