Basically, I have the most darling Mickey Mouse in the universe!
Halloween was so fun this year! Drake's age is awesome for trick-or-treating and dressing up.
He loved being Mickey Mouse! I decided to dress up with him as Minnie Mouse.
Funny faces!
He did great Trick-or-Treating!
He sprinted from house to house seriously running at full speed. Then he'd stand as close to the door as possible and knock. He'd say "TICK-O--TEAT" and then walk right in the door past the person answering it. He'd look all over for the magical bowl of candy and when he found out, he'd dig in with both hands!
He was hilarious to watch!
We were at my parents house tending still so we went trick-or-treating around their neighborhood. We only hit the houses of people we knew well, so people were more than willing to give Drake lots of candy!
Such a fun time as a family! Grandma & Grandpa Hunsaker even joined us for trick-or-treating for awhile which made it even better!
After trick-or-treating, we had a HUGE Halloween feast!
Staci (my sister)& I decided Sunday night that it would be fun to have a Halloween dinner. We quickly found ideas on Pinterest. She had to work all day and couldn't come up until 7:00pm Halloween night. So for some reason, I agreed to make a gazillion Halloween fun-foods. I seriously was in the kitchen from 11am-5pm on Monday and then back in the kitchen after trick-or-treating as well. Katelyn decorated and Staci made the soup and home-made rootbeer, thank heavens! We will definitely do it again, BUT plan a little more in advance. It seriously was a very stressful day cooking!
We ate lots of-
Tortured mummies, Candy Corn, Spiders, Witch's hats, Witch's Fingers, Cups of Blood, Skeleton Bones, Eyeballs, Creepy Crawlers, Brains, Intestines, and Ghosts!
Grandma Sheri & Grandpa Bob got home just in time for our Halloween dinner. The girls were so excited to have them back home and so was I! We really missed them- 2 weeks is a long time! Drake ran to them, screaming at the top of his lungs in excitement! I can't wait to hear more about their trip.
After sleeping in Tuesday morning, Drake and I counted his candy!
He's been asking for candy everyday since!
I just saw this darling video Staci got of Drake dancing in his Mickey costume and thought I'd tack it on the bottom of this post. He cracks me up.
