Sara Irene: 9 Months

Sara is 9 months now...

Let's just skip my crying and weeping over yet another month gone by, and go right to the stats, shall we:

Sara at 9 months

Weight: 18 pounds 2 ounces (50% exactly)

Height: 2 feet 3 inches or 27 inches (48%)- 

which I really think was measured wrong b/c that is a huge drop from where she normally is

Sara is healthy except for having some constipation issues which we are seeing a nutritionist about next week. Here's to pooping better!

Noteworthy milestones for this month:

Sleeping through the night consistently....wahoo!!!!!

Crawling expertly. (fast too!)

Discovering the house is her playground...

Looking more and more like her mama..

(what Mom doesn't want their daughter to look like them? I'm vainly beaming when people tell me she looks like me)

Pulling herself to standing a few times...

Conquered "the step" which means she can now go up and down the one step from our entry way into our family room.

Eating more solid food (cheese, crackers, cheerios, fruit pieces)

Saying "babababa", "dadadada", "mamamama"

Throwing food on the ground or spitting it out of her mouth. (which is new)

We love our 9 month old baby girl!

She is almost ALWAYS smiling, when she's not smiling...she's usually feisty.

And that's actually a good way to describe her....Smiley, feisty baby Sara!
