Elder Payne Returns!

Our latest Utah trip was May 26th-June 9th. This is the trip we'd been looking forward to for 2 WHOLE YEARS. Hunter coming home!

Rob wasn't able to come on this trip again. He works so hard for our family and I truly appreciate him so much. He stayed home to work so that he can come on our next visit for 2 weeks at the end of June (can't wait!). So...he was able to go and meet Hunter at the Sacramento Airport where he was flying out of. He got to sit and chat with Hunts for about an hour. I know this meant a lot to Rob because he was missing this big event in Utah. I'm so glad it worked out so well!

How do you even begin to describe the excitement of a day like this?

You just can't!

It was incredible.

I received this picture via text message on our way to the airport to pick up Hunter. It just made the anticipation all that more exciting! (And I knew to watch for a blue tie!)

Waiting for the arrival...

The first glance was of Hunter hiding from all of us...stinker!

And, there he is!

Squeezing him as tight as I possibly could...

As we were all giving hugs, Drake just kept yelling "Hunter! Hunter! Read my sign!" So finally, Hunts got a second to read it and Drake was so excited about it. It had written on it all of the things that Drake wanted to do with Hunter.

Dying over Sara and Savannah...

Telling him us girls are never letting him out of our sight again (poor guy, ha)-

So nice to have my crazy buddy back!

This was a special day for us all, but especially for my Mom who has been his number one support. I loved this picture and wrote this poem to go with it.
