DAY 4
On both Saturday and Sunday of our trip, we were able to enjoy watching/listening to General Conference. I heard some beautiful talks, but honestly missed out a lot this year as I was trying to take care of 2 kids the whole time. I'm slowly reading and listening to all of the talks now and really enjoying them.
We had a yummy Sunday meal as a family before most of the group had to head home for work or school. Staci & Savannah, Mom, and my kids and I were able to stay for 3 more days!
Sunday night, we walked to a darling new park and had so much fun with the kids...
Some of my favorite times were staying up late and chatting with my mom and sister or watching a movie together or laughing until our guts hurt...which was what we did that night. :)
DAY 5
On Monday, we got out bright and early to gorge ourselves at our favorite breakfast spot- The Bear Paw Cafe. Gorge we did, that's for sure! Mmmmmm!
Next, a short walk down the street to the Splash Park at Town Square...
We love this post for the little ones, as it has a little stream and waterfalls to play in. Drake floated Staci's flip-flops down the stream (as a boat of course), Savannah splashed and waddled around, and Sara sat and smiled like she always does. :)
And right by the Splash Park...a carousel! It's a magical little spot!
Finally, to the Washington Pool for the main part of our day!
Swimming...slides.....sunshine....food....relaxing....oh, and Drake forgetting his life jacket, going into the deep end, and tredding water. Scary! Luckily, I was watching him from a distance as he did it and ran over in time. We both learned a lesson for sure.
And Sara, well she's just the sweetest ever.

Can't remember the rest of the day, but it was fun! :)
DAY 6
Tuesday was our final full day in St. George and we spent it well!
First, my mom watched the kids in the morning so that Staci & I could get massages and pedicures! It was heavenly...
After, we spent the afternoon/evening shopping for the kids at the outlets and getting some great deals on the most darling clothes!
These two looked so cute that day...5 months apart and best of friends (with Drake too!)
^^^We got some curious stares and few people asking us- "are they twins?" "are they siblings?" When we explained, "No, they're cousins!" it made much more sense.
To finish off our trip, we went to the funnest place for dinner- Sakura!
They cook the food right in front of you and Drake thought it was AWESOME.
DAY 7
Well, there's not much to say that we did on this day as it was the day we drove home. But, we did...
Dress the girls alike for the upteenth time!
And we did....
Drive around with a giant bag of leaking garbage hanging out the window....only to discover that the dumpster wasn't where it was supposed to be, so....we snuck it into a stranger's garbage can with dogs barking, Mom yelling for Staci to hurry before the owner's came out, and the three of us laughing our heads off over the whole experience....
Guess you had to be there?
And we did...
Go to SWIG just one last time!
Then we made the drive home...
Goodbye St. George!
As always, you were lovely in every way.
I left you fuller and fatter.
And I'm missing you already.
With Love,
Lindsay
