For the third year in a row, I (usually we, but Rob is coming from CA tomorrow) read our favorite book to Drake and a flood of memories and emotions came back.
We loved this boy more than anything in the world on this night three years ago. And we love him even more with each passing day. At 1:55am on December 20, 2009, we became parents and our eyes and hearts were opened to a new kind of love we didn't know existed.
Happy [almost] birthday to our precious 3 year old Drake!

One of our friends gave us that book the morning after Brinklee was born. I cry every time! The first page always gets me!
