Today was a BIG day for the Drakester.
He had his first dentist appointment.
I took him to my cousin-in-law's practice in Logan (ABC Pediatric Dentistry)
Stanton is so awesome and was really cute with Drake.
He drew a face on his glove and made it talk and Drake stared at him.
Drake was pretty skeptical of the light on his head.
And he was naughty and screamed the whole time (Drake, that is).
Ya, we had to do the whole pin him down and let him scream routine.
But it was quick and over with and we now know that Drake has-
12 healthy pearly white teeth!
(6 on top, 6 on bottom)
We can expect his canines to come in any time.
He really was so ornery and so fussy. Mr. Somber-
ALL DONE and happy now! Clapping!
It felt like Drake was so big and old today- going to the dentist just seems like a "big kid" thing!
Way to go Drake! (not really- you were naughty, but at least we got through the appointment!)

Man, I haven't even taken my babies yet and they will be 3--their turn is coming fast! Stanton is the BEST dentist hands down and I'm sure he has seen much much worse than Drake! He's looking like such a big boy these days! (time for another one:):):)
hey, that's where we're going today too! gotta love the dentist! it's ok little drakey, going there makes me want to cry and scream and act that somber too! ;) way to make it thru your first appt!
He is so cute!! Really he is just is!!
Yea! Blogger is fixed! Stanton IS an absolutely fantastic dentist and has a wonderful way with little Drakesters that are so scared! Glad he made it through and that YOU survived! Those are hard days on Mom! He's a doll!
really? it's already time for these kiddos to go to the dentist!? i had no idea! i'm kind of a moron though. i guess i should take elle, huh? she's getting all 4 canines this week... it's a little brutal! GOOD LUCK!! haha. drake's so handsome!
Just for the record, I said to Stanton, "Lindsay said Drake was a little stinker at the dentist...was he?" And he said, "No, he was a normal 1 year old at the dentist." So GOOD JOB! :)
He is getting to be a darn big and cute boy and I am so sad that I'm missing it all! BUT, I am so thankful that you're so good about keeping up your blog because at least I get to watch it second hand!
