Saturday in the City

We had beautiful accommodations Friday night in San Francisco.
After breakfast Saturday morning, Drake begged to go swimming, so his awesome Daddy took him while the rest of us relaxed by the pool.
Then we headed to the wharf for the day.
We had a great time at the Exploratorium, a new hands-on physics and science place with loads to discover. This place is gigantic. We were there a few hours and didn't see it all, but what we did see was really very cool!
I snapped a few shots- cool mirror, mirror that reflects upside down, the coolest toothpick creation ever made, awesome wall, and a toilet drinking fountain that truly grossed Drake out.
Saturdays on Fisherman's Wharf are super busy, but really fun. You'll find street musicians, performers, painters, etc all down the walkway. My favorite was this young kid playing an awesome drum solo on buckets and pan lids.
Drake, on the other hand, just wanted to sleep due to his 11:30pm bedtime the night before.
Oh, and might I mention that we have now seen it ALL at Fisherman's Wharf- literally!
We were so lucky to experience about 7 male nudists riding bikes down the walkway- not only once did we see them, but TWICE. My eyes are scarred for life!

Our weekend was a blast though and we so enjoyed this little getaway. Thanks Calvin & Nancy/ Mom & Dad for such a great time! We can't wait to have you here at our house next week!
P.S.- This is my new favorite picture below. Oh, how I love my boys!
