Baby on the Way!

Well the news has been out for a couple weeks now, but it's not official until it's on the BLOG too!

We are thrilled to announce that another little Hunsaker is on the way!

We can't wait to see this cute hunk as a BIG BRO! 

 We caught our first glimpse of the he or she on January 9th, and although he looks scared below, Drake was really excited about the whole experience and so were Rob and I! There's nothing quite like seeing that little one inside of you for the first time. It was magical. :)

Drake is so cute about the baby and he was actually the person who spilled the beans to the family when we were in Utah for Christmas vacation. Our plan was to announce to the family on Christmas Day, but Drake shouted to all the family a week before Christmas "Mommy has a baby in her tummy!" 

It was hilarious!

Drake talks about the baby all the time, but other times shows no interest. He has no idea how much life is going to change come August 12th. (though neither do we!)

Rob has been amazing through this 1st trimester.
Pretty much I feel like I have been the worst wife and mother ever. I was SOOOOO not prepared for how hard it was going to be to be pregnant again AND to have a toddler to take care of. I'm terrible at it. Rob has picked up the slack in every way and I am just so thankful for him.

I was really sick the first of this pregnancy (sicker than I remember being with Drake- girl maybe? please?!), but things are starting to look up.
I'm now 14 weeks and have good days and bad days.
With Drake, I finally felt like myself again at about 17 weeks, so hopefully we can leave the headaches, nausea, and vomiting behind here pretty soon!

Between the whining though, I do remind myself daily just how blessed I am to have this little one growing inside of me. I'm so excited and so ready to have a newborn in our house again. I'm nervous as can be, but can't wait!

Things are so different the second time around aren't they? I haven't taken even ONE belly picture. I'll make that my goal for this week, but it surely isn't happening today. It's a sweats, ponytail, no makeup day today! (Oh wait, that's everyday lately, haha!)
