Yogurt

A new FAVORITE food!

Tonight, I'm posting pictures of my darling, lovable, sweet little boy!
Not pictures of the naughty, non-sleeping, whiny, stinker who has invaded Drake's body.

Drake has decided he no longer needs sleep. Neither does Daddy. Neither does Mommy.
Someone, please tell me this is normal. Someone please tell me this is a phase.

BENADRYL!!!!! Elle has been doing TERRIBLE sleeping for a few weeks- we tried everything! She's doing a little better the last few days- we pushed her bedtime back from 7 to 8:30... And have been slipping her some bedtime benadryl:) seriously- we know just how you feel! It's wretched! We are currently en route to Vegas- kid-free! Sleep here we come! Good luck!! I'm so sorry!

I would say NO WAY to the benadryl. If its just a sleeping problem then there is no need for benadryl. Its a phase and he might be getting more teeth. Also anything can throw them off so if you have been more busy and doing lots of things lately that might be it. Try pure lavender essential oil or camomile at the bottoms of his feet every night. I do that on my kids when they are having hard time settling down.

BTW--he is so so cute and my kids love yogurt too:)

Love his cute little face. :) He is so happy eating his yogurt! We still need to get together before I go.

Don't worry about the sleep thing, Linds, it will resolve itself most likely. He might be moving in to a new cognitive phase and just exerting some independence -- he also might be feeling unsettled or out of his routine if your summer has been as crazy as ours. You're a smart and resourceful mom. You'll get to the bottom of it. ;)
