I posted earlier about my Dad's surprise party for his 50th birthday, but I wanted to post some pictures.
It was January 22nd, the day before his birthday at Hamiltons in Logan.
He thought me, Rob, my mom, and him were all just going to dinner before the Utah State game, but we fooled him!
It was such a success and we were thrilled that he didn't ever find out about it.
He was shocked!
So many of his friends and family came and he was overwhelmed by how many people care so much about him! He shouldn't be surprised by that- my dad is the greatest!
Pictures of our family-
We had a "roast" in his honor and many people shared both hilarious and sentimental stories.
Pictured Below: Staci presenting Dad with denture cream and other old man essentials. Aunt Geri telling a story. Me reading a poem I wrote for him. Aunt Becky talking about how many freckles Dad had as a child. Me giving Dad a big hug.
We had a delicious buffet and yummy cake. It was such a fun night honoring such an amazing man!
On Sunday, for his actual birthday we went to my parents house for dinner, cake, and ice cream. Drake gave Grandpa a nice brushing of his hair for his birthday (more like banging him on the head with the brush!).
Dad with mom's famous chocolate cake!
OVER THE HILL, but still looking great!
Love you dad!

Mmmm... Chocolate Mousse cake! My favorite! Sounds like a great birthday for a great guy!
I was SO mad we got the date wrong on this. Your dad is so great. I just love him. So does Stanton.
Looks like an amazing night.
