We have had many HIGH, HIGH UPS, and many low, low downs, but it's made us stronger and happier!
Sometimes, we want to wring each others necks, other times we're madly in love newlyweds- but that's a marriage right?!
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO US!
I love you so much Rob.
Thank you for loving me and taking care of our family.
Our anniversary was wonderful.
Rob came home early from work.
And, he asked me if I wanted to watch a movie?
This movie was a DVD he put together with pictures and video of our last 5 years together. From dating until now all set to music.
I complain a lot that Rob needs to be more sentimental and romantic. I think he got my clue!!
It was the most romantic and sentimental thing he could have done for me.
I loved it and cried through the whole thing.
My husband really gets me and knows the kinds of things that melt my heart.
He even cuddled with me on the couch in my nasty glory (icky jammies, hair that hasn't had a brush ran through it in days, bad breath, snotty nose- real hot!)
Then, he straightened the house (which is in ruins from me being sick the last several days).
After that, he took Drake to a basketball game so I could get ready on my own.
And last, he took me on a date!
Okay, really?! Am I really the lucky gal that is married to the man who did all-of-the-above?

Love, love, love him!
We stayed close to home for our date because we couldn't find a babysitter until later in the night and our date was super low-key, but it was so wondeful!
We don't get out on our own very often so anytime together at all is great!
We went to Ruby River Steakhouse for dinner. Yummo!
It was glorious to just sit, talk, and eat slowly without a toddler screaming and throwing food everywhere.
The waitress kept apologizing for the wait on our food, and we kept saying "No problem. We are enjoying just relaxing!"

Oooh...my husband just gets hotter with age!
Our waitress was a sweetheart and brought us this gigantor cake to celebrate.

(And I had to undo the top button of my pants after eating- haha!)
Then we went to Fat Cats, an arcade, to kill time before our movie.
We played shooting games, Dance Dance Revolution, and motorcycle races.
Sounds lame, but it was seriously so much fun!
Like I said, really low-key date, but just what we wanted!!
(Ty & Staci watched Drake for us. Thanks so much guys!)
