Disciplining

It's crazy how almost overnight, a baby realizes that there are things Mom & Dad don't want them to touch and how exciting it is to disobey them. Drake has started developing a little "attitude" at times.
He especially loves to stand up to the TV stand and BANG on the TV as hard as he can. Yeah...Dad doesn't really go for that. Rob (bless his heart) was trying so hard last night to teach him not to do it.

He always looks at Daddy with a little mischevious grin right before he does it. I swear he knows exactly what he is doing. Little stinker!
Rob would grab him and sit him on his lap and hold his arms down and firmly say "No!"
And Drake would LAUGH and SMILE! What??
He thinks it's hilarious to get that reaction out of us.
And then he would proceed to do it over and over again.
In the end....No luck!
Disciplining is no fun.

lol! I believe children see all things that are safe and okay to play with in BORING black/white and all things that aren't safe and not okay to play with in BRIGHT neon colors! That's my philosophy! :)

It is a fun age!!! Payton dumps out our Wii games and remote baskets about 20 times a day. He has been my only child that touches my "cute" things. If it makes you feel any better the whole TV thing will get old to him, it might be months down the rode, but it will get old! He is a cutie, I can't believe our babies are almost 1!

Keep at it it will work most of the time at least. The little things are so smart who ever said that babies don't understand...never had one!

This is a cute post! Isn't it funny how no matter what they do, they can just grin and you're not mad anymore! Drake is so handsome, I love his cute little smile!
