Lucky Me! Tending Three!

There is not a hint of sarcasm in the title of this post!
I was so fortunate to marry into a family where I immediately acquired 20+ nieces and nephews. It's the greatest!

I was lucky enough to get to watch my darling niece and nephew today while my brother & sister-in law are in Philadelphia enjoying some time together!
Jessica (7) and Collin (2) are the cutest and sweetest kids!

Drake LOVED playing with his cousins!

He loved to chase after Collin. He soon realized that he was never going to keep up with him since Collin is running everywhere and Drake is still on all-fours. Collin was very patient with Drake! Isn't his red hair to die for?

Jessica was SO helpful with Drake. She played with him and entertained him all day. She is also such a good big sister. She came downstairs from checking on her little brother who I had just put down for a nap and said, "He was sad so I sang him a lullaby and he went right to sleep." How sweet!

Jessica is such a girly-girl and asked me to do her hair in curls and paint her toenails & fingernails. I truly would love having her around all the time. She is my little helper and friend. She makes me really look forward to having a daughter someday.

Jess was such a HUGE help to me! Our yard had gotten out of control with all the leaves that were covering every inch of it. Jess stuck with me for a long time cleaning up the yard and never once complained.I wish I would have taken a picture before we raked the leaves into piles. You couldn't even see the grass or the flower bed around the tree. I swear the leaves were 2 inches thick. This picture doesn't do it justice!

I'm actually sore from raking and bending down repeatedly to put all the leaves into bags.

Is that sad or what!?

And of course, we made some fun ghosts! This is Jess' GHOST face!

While we were working hard in the yard, these two little guys napped. When they woke up, they had the best of times playing until G&G Hunsaker came to get them.

I'm so glad they are close in age. I'm sure they will always be the best of friends!
