Logan --> Brigham

We are moving to Brigham City on Saturday.

Background:

Rob has been selling insurance there for the last 6 months and commuting everyday. We feel like his business will be a lot better if we live where he is working and get to know the community and the people there. He has been working so hard lately and studying non-stop to pass different insurance tests and I'm so proud of him! He has passed all his tests and he is working so hard for our family!

I'm planning on continuing to work part-time at Logan Regional Hospital on the Mom/Baby unit and so now I'll be commuting to Logan twice a week. I'm slowly looking for a job closer to Brigham.

The whole moving thing has brought such bittersweet feelings with it.

The sweet:
I'm so thrilled to be moving in to a house with a YARD! I love our new place! It's a 1958 home that's been all remodeled and the yard is beautiful with a wooden playhouse, a garden, firepit, sandbox, and swing set. It will be such a great place for our family to grow!

I'm also excited to be just 15 minutes away from our parents houses. I rely on my mom and mother-in-law for a lot of babysitting so I can sleep after working nights, so it will be nice to be close.
The bitter:
Leaving Logan. Oh how I love this city! I love Utah State, the beautiful Logan mountains, the stores, restaurants, people, etc. I love Logan! I always saw us living here forever, but life has taken us in a different direction. My first reaction to living in Brigham city was NO WAY! I went to Bear River High for heavens sakes, no way was I going to live in Box Elder Bee land. haha! I'm learning to love the area though. Each time I go there I love new things about it and I can't wait to get to know the people and town.

Leaving my dear friends. This is the very hardest part. We have lived here for 4 1/2 years, but the last year has been my favorite as we've gotten to know our neighbors and become so close to them. I am going to miss them all so much. I love our ward. I love my calling in the Primary presidency. I love my neighbors and their darling kids. This is really going to be so hard for me.

I know it's for the best though and I know we will be happy wherever we are! Here's to moving! I have SO much packing to do!

Moving is always so bittersweet but your new home sounds perfect! When you let Heavenly Father direct your life, everyday is such an exciting new adventure, isn't it? We're so thrilled for Robert's success!
