Well we made it to Brigham!

The move went awesome and we had SO MUCH HELP!
We have such a great family, ward, and friends!

Last week, we said "see ya later" to some of our best friends!
(We're not saying goodbye because we're only 30 minutes away)

Drake said "see ya later" to his best buddy Brookie!
They are the cutest little friends. He already misses her so much!
Brooke even gave Drake an open-mouthed GOODBYE KISS!Ooh la la!
We moved into our new house last Saturday and we are slowly getting things unpacked and put together. I was so happy to get the family room and kitchen decorated yesterday. It made it feel much more like our home once we had things on the walls. It's amazing how decorations and pictures make such a difference!---
We have lots of unpacking and decorating still to do, but we're working on it. It feels so overwhelming at times! I know it will get better though.

While unpacking boxes, we came across quite a treasure!!
We found this great, BIG BOX... 
and inside?...
A "DRAKE-IN-THE-BOX"!
Drake has had a BLAST with all the boxes we've had around!
He loves to crawl inside them, use them to stand up, or bang on them!
He's also had lots of fun with the bubble wrap! Who wouldn't!?

For now, here's a picture of my awesome husband working so hard in our backyard. We have 3 beautiful, giant trees in the backyard, but boy, do they shed!
I thought he was very clever to rake them into this nice long row before using the leaf-sucker! (yes, my own term. What is that thing called?)

It's so fun to have leaves to rake and a yard to care for! Loving the new house! Now we just need to get out and make some new friends! (Missing my Yorkshire buddies!)

Wow looks like you have a huge backyard! That'll be fun! I'm excited to see pics of the house! Good luck moving and unpacking!
Considering the love that babies have for empty boxes it makes you wonder why you ever buy them a present!
Congratulations on the move! Drake is getting so big, I can't believe it has almost been a year. That doesn't seem possible!
