Just wanted to give a quick Drake update for those interested and for my journaling purposes:
Drake is 3 weeks old as of yesterday! At his 2 week appointment last Monday, he weighed 7 pounds 11 ounces! Holy cow! (He weighed 6-11 at birth and 6-5 when we left the hospital so he gained over a pound in a week and a half). He grew 1/2 an inch as well (21 inches now). He is growing like a weed and changes everyday. I'm sure he's over 8 pounds now. His newborn clothes are getting pretty tight!
He is starting to nurse a little better now- we struggled for the first few weeks and we're still working on it, but at least now I'm not crying everyday! :) I think he's going through a growth spurt right now because he wants to eat about every 2-3 hours which can get pretty exhausting, but I'm hoping won't last forever. I'm going to give him a few more weeks and then try to start getting him to sleep longer at night. He's started being much more alert this last week which is SO FUN! I just love every minute with him and am so thankful that I get to be home with him 24/7 right now!
(Sorry to everyone that my blog is becoming a mommy blog, but my life is all about Drake right now and I don't have much else to talk about.)

Don't be sorry about your blog being a "mommy blog" it is your life!!! :) That is awesome that he is growing so much and that he is eating better. Breastfeeding can be difficult and frustrating. Keenan had reflux and wanted to eat every 1-1 1/2 hours...it was draining. He is sure cute, hang in there, if you are having a rough day, just know that we have all been there (and still go through those days). Email, facebook chat, call, I am around! :) 435-760-7321

Wow! Time does fly- I can't believe he's that old already! Can I just say how funny it is- Elle was identical in stats! They're little twinners, haha

Wow! He really is growing despite the nursing woes!:) I am the worlds worst nurser and I've shed my share of tears over it with each kid, but, it does get better. You will do great, just keep it up! Love you! By the way, I love that your blog is a "mommy blog!" I can't think of anything more interesting than kids!
Love to hear about him and would love to see some pictures too! Give him hugs and kisses. Welcome to the wonderful life od nursing every 2 hours! Find a good book or movie to watch. Emma says to give hugs to Sasha! Love you guys!
i can't believe he's that old already! oh, how fun. can't wait to see more pictures!
(side note, he and elle are like little twinners... she had IDENTICAL stats as he did/does! go figure!)
