Falalalala! It's Christmas-time! Our FAVORITE time of year!
Let the traditions begin...
December 1st- New Christmas church clothes!
It's real fun trying to get a good picture of these two sillies together. The best of about 20! My favorite is Sara doing the salsa there on the left pic and Drake's smile in the right. :)
Normally, on December 1st, we have our annual WELCOMING CHRISTMAS night, but we did it on the 2nd this year (Mostly because I forgot. Honestly, I feel like I have been behind on life since Sara was born almost 4 months ago. I just can't get my act together. I've lost brain function, I swear!)
Normally, we also have a nice dinner prepared by me, but as before-mentioned, it just wasn't happening, So....Rob being the awesome husband he is brought home pizza! Simplicity is better anyways, right?
Pizza and hot cocoa by candle-light. Drake loved this surprise!
Then, the kids got to open new Christmas jammies, a new ornament for this year, and a little toy.
"Welcoming Christmas" night was finished with Family Home Evening (acting out the Christmas story with Drake's Little People set) and reading a few Christmas books.
Tonight, we made gingerbread houses and invited friends over to join us. Drake was very focused and serious about this decorating business this year. We had fun!
(behind Drake & Rob, you'll see that we made our own snow this year in California!)
Hope you are enjoying this wonderful season too!
