Drake turns 4!

This birthday for Drake was the funnest yet! The older he gets, the more excited he gets, and it's so fun to observe it as his mom. He asked for days and days before "How many days until my birthday?" so you can imagine, just how excited he was when he went to sleep on the night of the 19th and knew he'd wake up in the morning and it would be his big day.

We slept together in Grandma & Grandpa Hunsaker's basement and the next morning, he rolled over and whispered in my ear, "It's my birthday!" Talk about the cutest ever!
He ran upstairs and was so excited about this surprise!
We even got to watch the sun rise on his birthday.
Birthday breakfast on Grandma's special birthday dishes-
Me: "Drake, what should we do with all of these balloons that Grandma & I hung up?"
Drake: "Pop 'em!"
You got it, handsome birthday boy!
Later at my parents house, we played and played and played. We were going to go to Logan to see a movie and go to dinner, but Drake had no desire and begged to stay home and play. And since it was his day, I was more than happy to do that. That night, Grandpa Bob brought a cake home for Drake and we sang to him over and over again. Rob flew in to SLC in the evening and Drake got to stay up late and wait fr his daddy to arrive. It ended up being a fun. low-key day!

The next morning, we headed to the Jump Zone in Logan to continue the partying for Drake's big birthday! Family met us there and we had a great time bouncing around like little kids, doing tricks, playing basketball, and having relays. Seriously, it was SO much fun! I felt like a child again and I think Drake loved everyone playing with him.
A bunch of kids chose Rob as there dodgeball target and ganged up on him. It was hilarious. Drake swooped in to help Daddy.
Sara joined in on the fun too!
Love this play by play-
I think we tuckered him out-
Cake time!
And so excited to open his presents!
Thanks so much to all who came and celebrated with us! Not pictured that were there- Grandpa Bob, Gramma Sheri, Grandma & Grandpa Hunsaker, Uncle Scott, Nate, & Whitty.
