Having my family here for the first week of Sara's life was so wonderful.
Everyone, but mom was nice enough to stay in a hotel nearby because they knew I wouldn't handle 7 extra people in my house very well immediately after Sara's birth.
We were able to still have a nice, relaxing environment, but also have fun and enjoy time together as a family.
It meant so much to Rob & I that they took the time to come see us and meet our newest addition.
Here are my favorite pictures from our time together in the 1st week of Sara's life-
Sara's 2nd day home, I just loved this outfit and loved her every little feature...
(so in love with the left picture)
Everyone loves to hold Baby Sara...

I know I've already said it, but I'm just so thankful for the help our family gave us, especially my mom. Her being here meant so much to me and I would have had the hardest time after if she hadn't been here to help me. Love you all dearly!

Daddy time that night...
4 days old and cuddling with Mom in the morning...
Her lips are my favorite...
Cuddles with Grandpa made her sleepy...(so in love with the left picture)

It was beautiful weather in August. Relaxing outside in the evening...
Baby Sara loved being outside too...
Demonstrating the phases of a BIG yawn at 5 days old...
haha so cute!
My family was really thoughtful and generous to spoil Drake with lots of attention while they were here. I love his smile here while they were at lunch...
Sara's in her carseat for her 1st outing- to lunch with the family before the Hess' headed home.
How can something so tiny and cute produce this much trash in just one week!?
Tickling Drake for a smile the day Gramma Sheri had to go home. HARD day. :(I know I've already said it, but I'm just so thankful for the help our family gave us, especially my mom. My family wasn't the only family to visit during Sara's 1st week.
Mikal, Jenn, & family came to support us and meet Sara as well!
It meant so much to us that they made the long drive to see us. Each of them just loved on little Sara, but gave Drake attention as well. We are so lucky to have such amazing family!
