Golden Gate Park

Monday afternoon, we drove into the city to discover a place we haven't been to yet-
GOLDEN GATE PARK

On our way, we stopped at our favorite viewing area for a few pictures.
It was SOOOOO windy! We couldn't stop laughing because we were being blown all over the place!

Golden Gate Park is massive!
I pulled a picture off the internet so you can see the ginormity of it-
As you can see, it's kind of like Central Park in New York- where there are homes compacted all around it and then just a beautiful park in the middle of it all.

Our first stop in the park was to visit the Japanese Tea Gardens.
These gardens were immaculate. Just absolutely beautiful.
(Please no judging on these pictures of me. I don't know why I look so "large and in charge" in that outfit. I'm getting big, but hopefully not that big! Super unflattering outfit!)
Drake wanted a picture with the big fishies-
This bridge was really cool and Drake loved climbing on it-
It was quiet, peaceful, and relaxing (well for most people....we had Drake with us. ha).
LOVE was in the air!
After the tea gardens, we just walked around and enjoyed the park. The weather was so nice and it was beautiful everywhere!
This squirrel wanted to show off his bulging muscles to me. Nice pose huh!? :)
Drake had a ball at this fountain area. It was about 6pm and so relaxing and gorgeous-
Calvin and Nancy relaxing by the fountain-
Our experience at Golden Gate Park was great!
After looking at a map of the place, we figured we didn't even see 1/8th of the park.
Guess we'll have to go back for more!

That is an awesome park! Don't worry about the the outfit, I have found that horizontal stripes like to accentuate largeness, I have made a point to stay away from them so I don't look pregnant when I am not :)
