San Francisco Zoo

We had SO MUCH FUN at the San Francisco Zoo yesterday!

Some ward members (now great friends!), invited us to come along with their family for the day and we jumped right on that opportunity. It was great to get out of the house and see something new. Our friends Alexis, Ellie, Laura, Hazel, & Des came too!

This zoo was beautiful! 

It was a misty rainy day, but that just made for great pictures and a gorgeous green landscape around us.

We saw some animals that I'd never seen before- like an anteater? Weirdly cool! 

And they had almost all of the main big animals that you'd want to see at a zoo. 

 Drake had a blast! I won't say he was a gem the whole time- his newest thing is to run away from me which equals many a time-outs in the stroller, but he is definitely getting better at being obedient. He was excited to see every animal though and was pretty inquisitive, asking lots of questions about everything.

Perfectly posed gorilla- so funny!

Train ride- 

 These grizzly bears were so close to us and almost got in a fight when one bothered the other. 

 The lion was my favorite- huge and beautiful.

 He's a stinker at times, but when he plants these BIG JUICY KISSES on my lips, I really can't complain. ;)
