Loving & Cuddling Savvy (Utah in detail)

Our trip to Utah was our favorite yet!

Here are the details for my memory:
We spent the first week at my parents house.
Tuesday we arrived.
Wednesday we went to the Treehouse Museum with the Sandall girls before heading to the hospital.
Wednesday-Friday were spent back and forth at the hospital. My cousin Chrystal and aunt Christie offered to take Drake on Wednesday and Thursday so I could be with Staci. I can't thank them enough for this! Obviously, I couldn't have been at the hospital if it wasn't for them. Chrystal even took Drake to the preschool he teaches and loaded him up with so many fun goodies and toys. He loved it! Thanks a million!

Sunday, Staci & Ty came to Tremonton to stay at my parents house as well for extra help and to be close to all the family that wanted to visit. They were there until Wednesday night and we had so much fun with the baby! We played dress-up non-stop, took naps, talked, laughed, and kissed and cuddled little Savvy until her cheeks were red!
Sadly, Drake got an ear infection and had a terrible runny nose and cough so we had to keep him away from the baby. That was hard at times, but usually he just liked to do his own thing so it wasn't too big of a deal.

That coming Saturday, my parents and little sisters left on a week long cruise (planned long before they knew about this baby), so Drake and I headed to Staci & Ty's house to stay for the next week. I wanted to be as much help to Staci as possible before I left and I think we were able to get a lot accomplished. Laundry, cleaning, kitchen stocking, picture editing, shopping, and cooking filled the days. And OF COURSE, there was lots of napping, cuddling, and playing with my darling niece. I loved every minute of our time there!

I need to mention that my cousin Brooke offered to take Drake over the weekend for a few days so I could have some one-on-one time with Stace. Wow! This was so appreciated! It was so nice for me to have a break and to be able to spend time helping Staci. And Drake had the greatest time with his cousins. I just really appreciated that huge gesture.

And finally....Wednesday we headed home. Two weeks in Utah full of family time, baby time, and relaxing. One of my favorite trips and a very hard one to say goodbye to!

Now for a giant mix of pictures from my camera and iPhone
