Hunter's gave his farewell talk in church on Sunday, May 20th. He did such an amazing job. I was just in awe listening to him bear testimony of his desire to serve a mission. He spoke with such conviction and excitement about the work he would be doing in the next 2 years. It was a moment where I looked at him and saw just how much he has grown up. He is a STRONG MAN with a STRONG TESTIMONY of the gospel. I know that he is going to do amazing things on his mission and that he is going to be bringing so much love and happiness to the people he meets and teaches. I can see him now as a missionary and I'm so unbelievably proud of him that my heart could burst. I feel so incredibly blessed to be his big sister and even though I am older than him I feel like he is the example to me. I just can't say enough good things about him.
Sunday was such a special day. I love events like this when all of our family and friends gather together- it's blissful! Truly.
Here are a whole bunch of pictures from Hunter's farewell on Sunday, May 20th.
(I promise that I am not completely obsessed with taking pictures of every single life event of my siblings. Sometimes, I wonder if I should have ever gotten a nice camera because all I hear lately is "Lindsay, bring your camera! Lindsay, take pictures!" Nah, I'm just kidding. I don't mind taking them at all and since my parents gave us the camera perhaps I should be more appreciative and willing.)

Sunday night we were all so beat from the busy weekend, that we lounged around and relaxed.
Dad took a nap with the dogs and Whit was smart to grab a picture of him. Gross dad... :)
And I took the most AMAZING nap on the porch swing. Probably one of the best I've ever had!
Such a great day with family...
Memorable too!

So awesome to have a brother on a mission. I love you dress too!
It was, indeed, a very wonderful day! Again I will say I was so touched by the letter "conversation" you and Hunter had so many years ago that apparently had an enormous influence on him for all these years since. He is a great young man, but so, my dear, are you a great woman!
