Friday night was SUCH an emotional night. I'm so extremely proud of my little brother and the choice and sacrifice he has made to serve a mission. I know he will be incredibly blessed. I can't wait to watch him serve and grow. But, on the honest side of things, it's also so hard to realize he will be gone for 2 whole years. I am beginning to understand what a huge sacrifice this really is for him and for our family. It's hard to think that Drake will be 4 1/2 when Hunter sees him again. It's sad and it's hard and it makes me cry a lot, but of course, we wouldn't want him anywhere else. I know he is called of God. This is an amazing time for him and for our family! I'm sure there will be many posts to follow on this topic...
(I took pictures for my dad on his camera Friday night, so I don't have any of Hunts opening his call-darn! I'll just have to settle for the silly one above. My mom had the house decked out in ? marks- it was darling!)
Since our whole family was in town this weekend, we decided to go to Hardware Ranch Saturday morning. We've been wanting to take Drakey to see the "Rar-Rar Elk", as he calls them. It was snowy and cold, which was actually really fun! In this mild winter, we'll take any chance we can get to be outside and play in our snow clothes.
Drake hasn't stopped talking about the "Rar-Rar Elk" that we "don't shoot, just say 'Hi, Rar-Rar Elk'" and wave. hahaha!

You have such a fun family! I never realized your brother has 4 sisters...how fun! I bet this is really fun for you to have him go on a mission. My family dominates boys so we have done the mission thing a lot but I see how excited you must be since he is the only brother. How awesome!!
Great Photos! So happy for your brother and your family.
Congrats to Hunts! Crazy he is old enough to go on a mission!
Love the pics from Hardware :)
I am do excited for him. Honestly, English speaking US missions are AWESOME. your dad knows that, of course, and so do Stanton and I. I am so happy for him to go and serve. He will love it so much.
Also, we've never done Hardware ranch as a family. I need to get on that!
Your family look like catalog models in your winter gear. Gorgeous. :)

Hannah looks so pretty in these pictures don't ya think?! Thanks for posting, one day I will update my blog...:) We are so lucky to have such a close family that loves to spend time together. Love ya.
Cute pictures! What kind of camera do you use? The quality is amazing!
Such a beautiful family! You really could be winter-wear magazine models! We are thrilled for Hunter and know he will be an exceptional missionary. You are in for two great years of letters that will fill your home with the spirit and bring blessings to your family that you can't imagine! I am sad not to have any more missionary children and look forward to the grandkids going out in the future!
