Today is our 6 Year Anniversary!
And we are just as sappy, corny, and cutesy as the day we got engaged- September 30, 2005
(just realized the date is off on this picture)
Well that's a lie. But we are just as much in love. Actually, I think we are much much more in love. We know how to fight, argue, forgive, forget, and love unconditionally. That's a better love then the sappy kind.
I love you my sweet groom.
I love thinking about this day 6 years ago.
I didn't sleep much the night before.
You told me you slept like a rock.
I wore my hair up in curls.
You smelled so good.
We walked hand in hand into the SLC temple at 8:00am
My mom and my sweet temple helper couldn't get the back of my dress done up right and you thought I'd left you at the altar because it took so long- haha.
We sat in the Celestial room and it was so peaceful.
Then we walked into a room full of our dearest family and friends.
I couldn't stop the tears from flowing.
Neither could you.
I remember the sealer talking about centering our life around Christ.
That's all I really remember.
But I do remember the feelings I felt.
I loved my beautiful white dress.
And you looked so handsome in your tux.
Our flowers were pink roses.
I wore a white cape to keep warm.
You snuggled me close to help with that as well.
Everything flew by.
I wished that time would stop
You wished we could get to the honeymoon already. :)
Our colors were pink, black, and silver.
Our family looked stunning in them.
Our cake fell over at the luncheon.
Remember how I almost cried, but then we laughed.
We never got to eat our reception food (I heard it was great).
We danced to our song- "When You Say Nothing At All"
And you let me sleep in the car.
It was cold and gloomy day with a huge snowstorm at night, but we were so, so happy.
Thank you for taking me to the temple to be yours for eternity.

Love the pictures Linds! I can't believe you guys have been married for that long! Robert looks so young in the picture of when you got engaged (not that he looks old now :) hahaha). I remember the cake falling at your breakfast and feeling so bad for you. But its all part of the memories, right? :)
