My sister Hannah came to stay at my house on Thursday and we went to the Brigham pool for the first time this year.
I discovered that Drake loves water! He's been hiding it up until now and crying every time we put him in a swimming pool. I guess he is just picky and wanted to wait for the really nice, hot weather.

The Brigham pool is great and the kiddy pool is perfect for little Drake.
When we got there, I set Drake down and he slowly meandered over to the water and put his feet in it. Then, he looked up at me with this giant grin and just took off like a crazy child! He ran and splashed all over the place.
We did the slide well over 100 times and after the first couple times, he was able to do it on his own. He loved to run through the water and fall, but would then try to get up and would inhale a bunch of water. He was really good about it though and would quickly calm down and take a breath. He did it several times, and I quickly discovered that I couldn't take my eyes off him since he tried to jump in the deep end.
He played in the water for 3 whole hours and then crashed on our 5 minute ride home!
It was so much fun! I think I am going to make it a weekly event!
