Here are the pictures from our trip!
This was a super quick trip. We left on Tuesday morning and came home Thursday morning.
The deal was that if we move to California, we get this Mustang Convertible....
hahaha Yeah right! Pretty darn awesome rental though, right!?
We felt like a true California couple cruising around in it.
Then, we realized that we had absolutely no idea where we were going, so I guess we have some learning to do before we'll deserve such a car. Rob figuring out where we are-
We drove through San Francisco on our way to Petaluma (45 minutes north of San Fran). The route takes you over the Golden Gate Bridge which was so cool. It was a foggy morning. Oh wait, that's every morning I've heard? :)
Lynn recommended Della Fattoria for lunch, a quaint little salad/sandwich place. It was delicious and we brought home so authentic artisan sourdough bread- we ended up chomping away at it for the rest of our trip. Little by little we ate the entire huge loaf!
Next came our big meeting with KGBS, but I didn't think it was appropriate to take pictures of all of that.
After that, we cleaned up in the hotel and didn't waste any time getting back into our sweet car. We decided to drive out to see the ocean. So we put the top down and headed on our way-
The drive was absolutely beautiful and the weather was cool. We're really looking forward to living in that weather!
Beautiful evening at the ocean-
How about another shot of that gorgeous car?
If we sell both of our cars and our house maybe we can afford it. haha...or I'll just sell Robert...hmm.
On Wednesday, we spent the morning driving around Petaluma and getting to know the area. Then we headed to San Francisco. Our hotel was right on Fisherman's Wharf! And, that's where we spent our evening- what an exciting, crazy fun environment! I loved it and can't wait to explore it more once we are out there.
I'm like a kid in a candy store when you get me around chocolate.
Literally...
Looking out at Alcatraz (definitely can't wait to take that tour sometime!)
Shots of San Francisco City from Fisherman's Wharf
A trolley! (another thing we need to do another day)
Or course, my number one priority was hitting Ghiradelli square. My sweet husband agreed.
We had no problem polishing off a HOT FUDGE SUNDAE.
This, folks, is my weakness-
Another shot of the Bay
And this is when I told Robert to stop taking pictures of me.
We found this sweet spot to have dinner and enjoyed people watching from our table.
I'm going to gain weight living here, aren't I? The food is SO. GOOD.
We had such a fun evening in San Francisco and just cannot wait to go back!
Thursday morning, we headed back home, but not before just ONE more picture with this baby-
