I thought I'd give an update to our family and friends who are wondering about how Rob's new job is going in California. He has now been there for a week and a half and he is really enjoying it! Last week, he spent most of his time getting to know the employees and shadowing them in their specific jobs so he could learn what each person does in the company. He has been working extremely long days, but really enjoyed learning more about the company. This week he will start doing more of what he will be doing in his specific position. Everyone at KGBS has been extremely welcoming to him which I know he has appreciated.
Rob discovered this at KGBS and decided that it HAS to be a good company if this is the paper they use! haha
Drake & I miss him so much! (I think he misses us too ;) ) I have a new respect for military families or any families that live long-distances away from each other. It hasn't even been THAT long, but we already feel such a huge void in our lives. We can't wait to see him in another week! Thank heavens for cell-phones, texting, and Skype!
Thankfully, we have wonderful family in CA taking care of him! Rob headed up to his brother's house in El Dorado Hills for the weekend. Jenn and the girls took him boating! Now if that isn't great hospitality, then what is! He had a blast and took some fun pictures-

Their dog Bueller is seriously the coolest dog ever!
We are looking forward to seeing Daddy next week when he comes home and then I'll head out the next week to look at some housing options. We can't wait to get out of this "transition" stage.
