Easter Lovin'

INTRODUCING...

Drake's New Gal! MUAH!

We've been having a fun time lately getting ready for Easter and enjoying Springtime!

Because of snowy weather, we weren't able to make it to Baby Animal Days in Logan this year and we were feeling bummed we didn't get to take Drake. Then, we found out about a Farm Animal Petting Zoo put on by the FFA in Tremonton and so we headed there to see the animals last Saturday.
Drake really liked the horsies outside.
Inside the barn, he saw puppies, a baby goat, a Shetland pony, baby geese, bunnies, pigs, and sheep.
He was actually quite hilarious. He ran around like a crazy child pointing and saying "oooh", before quickly moving on to the next animal. He ran around to each of the animals over and over again. Hence, the reason there isn't ONE picture of him looking at the camera. It's impossible to get a good picture of Drake these days. The pictures don't show it, but he was smiling and laughing.
Overall, we concluded he loved the petting zoo!
The only animal he did NOT like, was the lamb!
The poor thing kept "BAAing" and it scared Drake to death.

Sunday night, we got together with my family for an early EASTER CELEBRATION!
We are going to be in California with the Hunsaker family for Easter, so we celebrated with my family last Sunday, since we won't be with them this Sunday.

Grandma & Grandpa surprised Drake with an Easter basket full of goodies!
Chomping on candy-

We had such a wonderful time enjoying family, eating a delicious EASTER DINNER and  playing in the rain during the EASTER EGG HUNT!
Drake was a PRO at the Easter egg hunting.
He caught on quick and knew eggs-actly (hehe) what to do!
(My camera's flash was off so some of these turned out blurry- darn! Also, notice that once again, Drake never looks at the camera or smiles, Sigh...)
 Check out all that loot!
That "loot" kept Drake up fussy until 10:30 that night!
He probably thought it was worth it though. :)
Thanks Mom & Dad for working with our schedules and being willing to celebrate Easter early with us this year! It was GREAT!!!

I miss Baby Animal Days every year. I never seem to get the scheduling right!

Drake is just cuter and cuter every day. And sometimes those more candid, not looking at the camera shots are more adorable.

I love your family and miss you guys so much!

California I am jealous the weather couldn't possibly be worse than here could it? I think its so cute that little kids love animals its like a new adventure oh and the sheep thing when you took him to treehouse did he like the sheep there? Hallie hates it and since seeing it clings to us everytime we see one.
