Poor Drakey is sick for the first time.
He's been acting fussy and not sleeping well the last several days and started messing with his ear yesterday. We took him to the InstaCare yesterday and sure enough he has a double ear infection. No fun!
This is a picture of him somewhat happy before he was screaming as they were cleaning his ears out. We thought he looked adorable in this little gown. He was so upset when they were cleaning out his ears and looking at them, but after it was all done he was awesome the rest of the night- his happy, smiley self. This morning he woke up smiling and talking and I thought to myself, "wow! I have such an awesome baby! He is sick, but you'd never know it."
I spoke too soon!
Today he is fussy, restless, and very unhappy. He won't nurse hardly at all. I feel so bad for him.
I'm kind of nervous because we are leaving for Europe on Wednesday so we are praying that he'll be better by the time we leave (the pressurization of the plane will be awful on his poor little ears if he isn't better by then). Keep him in your prayers!

Fun updates :) Except for your poor puppy and Drake being sick. He is so darn cute. I love him in his little hospital gown. Have fun in Europe. :)
Ear infections are probably the very worst thing to deal with, sickness wise. I'm so sorry! I hope he gets better for you.
