Kolton's Wedding in Colorado

Last weekend, we headed off on our LAST trip of the summer! Phew! :)
Kolton, one of Rob's best friends from childhood (and still now), got married in Denver, Colorado on Saturday. We've known about it for a year now and have really been looking forward to it! We got to know Kolton's fiance Amy when Rob & I went to Denver in May and we love them both and are so thrilled for them! They asked Drake to be their Ringbearer, and well, you'll see in a second just how cute that was!

Daddy flew from CA to the SLC airport last Thursday night and we met him there with our bags packed, ready for a fun family weekend! Drake was so excited to get to come on this vacation and it was pretty apparent just how much he missed his Daddy! He talked non-stop to his Dad and it was like Christmas morning for him to be going on an airplane!
We had a fun time in Denver Thursday night and Friday morning and afternoon. We went swimming at the hotel pool and you would have thought, that we had gifted Drake the world! He was so excited about everything we were doing! So excited that I couldn't get him to hold still for 2 seconds-
We were able to meet up with another of Rob's high school friends and his family Friday afternoon- Cory & Heather, it was great to see you!

The rehearsal dinner/party was at Dave & Buster's Friday night. And that's where Drake got to meet this little doll! Maddie & Drake needed to be good friends because they were going to be walking down the aisle together the next day as the Ringbearer and Flower Girl. They easily hit it off and were best friends holding hands around the arcade all night (adorable!).
Here is Drake & Maddie (Kris' great-niece) with Kolton's mom, Kris.

Kolton & Amy's wedding was up in the Colorado mountains and it was breathtaking!
It was so special to be there to celebrate this day with them!
We love you Kolton!
I couldn't get over how cute these two were together as the Flower Girl and Ringbearer!
Drake got shy at his big moment, but with a little coaxing, he did great! The ceremony was absolutely beautiful and I loved the words the pastor said.
After the ceremony, there was a cocktail hour out in front of the mansion with breathtaking scenery...

It was so fun to have my bestie and Kolton's cousin Tory there. We had a great time, huh Tor!
Sunset before going inside for dinner and dancing...
Kolton's parents (and great second-parents to Rob!) at dinner
There's trouble-
The bride wondered where all the cupcakes had gone? (I kid)
After an amazing dinner, toasts, etc...the bride and groom danced and then we partied!
Drake even scored a dance with the bride!
...and the maid of honor!
Then he made his rounds! We had a great time!
Friends Zac and Amy

Thanks for letting us be a part of such a special day!
We hope we get to see lots more of you two over the years!
(Amy- you looked gorgeous!)
